Look Ahead has named the winners of our 2024 Women in Leadership and Rising Star Awards.

The awards offer staff who show clear talent, dedication and passion for the work Look Ahead does a career development bursary.

The Women in Leadership winner is Aniah Boake-Smith, who is a Senior Compliance Coordinator on our Property Team. Aniah is using her bursary for two courses, a Fire Risk Assessor course and another on Managing Fire Safety.

The Rising Star Award Winner is Dipti Rapte, Look Ahead’s Fundraising and Partnerships Manager. Dipti is using her prize to undertake a Diploma in Fundraising from the Chartered Institute of Fundraising.

Aniah said: Winning this award fills me with immense pride and gratitude. This recognition is not just a personal achievement, but a testament to the supportive and inclusive environment at Look Ahead. It especially highlights the organisation’s commitment to fostering leadership and empowering women to excel.

Dipti said: I feel grateful to work for an organisation that continuously invests in staff development and recognises their potential. The Diploma in Fundraising funded by the Rising Star prize will help me grow in my current role at Look Ahead, raise more support to enhance our customers’ quality of life and support my development in the wider sector.
