Look Ahead are pleased that work has started to renovate our St Kilda and Oaklands Road services in Ealing, West London. We were joined today by our partners from LandAid, SEGRO and FaithornFarrellTimms (FFT), to review the project as it gets going. They heard from our main contractors, Chas Berger more about the plans for the renovation and extension to the properties.
Look Ahead has owned St Kilda since 1993, and has run important supported living services for young people from the site, and from Oaklands Road for many years. Both sites were in need of a refresh so thanks to LandAid, SEGRO and Property Race Day who have provided grants for the projects Work has now began Plans include extensions to the buildings, loft conversions to make new rooms to help more young people, sleeping quarters for overnight staff, and all-important therapeutic spaces.
The project will take a few months and then we’re looking forward to welcoming more young people to the service later in the year.
