Stephen Alexander is stepping down after more than six years in the role. Stephen became Chairman in January 2011 and has steered the organisation through a period of significant change. The Board would like to thank Stephen for his exemplary leadership and the valuable contribution he has made to Look Ahead’s continued success.

She was Deputy Chief Executive of Westminster City Council where she had responsibility for adults’, children’s and strategic housing and homelessness services. In 2009 she was awarded a CBE for services to local government and social care.
Julie said: “It is a privilege to be taking over the Chair of Look Ahead from Stephen and look forward to working with the Board and the senior team to continue the excellent work already under way. We face many challenges in the coming years but I am confident Look Ahead will carry on finding new ways to meet the needs and aspirations of our customers who are at the heart of everything we do.”
Julie will commence in post following Look Ahead’s Annual General Meeting on 28th June 2017.
