Look Ahead worked with Crisis on their new report, ‘Homelessness prevention: it’s everybody’s business’ to provide a case study for our HAWK service which is part of South London & Maudsley NHS Trust.
The report builds on the prevention agenda established through the Homelessness Reduction Act and calls on every government department to play their part to prevent and end homelessness.
In the report they focus on five government departments that could have a central role in preventing homelessness for a significant proportion of people. These are the Department for Work and Pensions, the Ministry of Justice, the Department of Health and Social Care, the Home Office and the Department for Education.
