Self compassion
The pandemic has been really difficult and so we all need to be kind to others, but also be kind to ourselves. Self-compassion involves acting the same way towards yourself when you are having a difficult time, something fails or you notice something you don’t like about yourself.
ZunTold Mental Health Solution
We know that many of the young people we work with have often experienced trauma before coming to Look Ahead and that this has an impact on their mental health.
To help them work through this and improve their mental health we’ve partnered up with Zuntold, a creative writing and literature therapy platform.
All of our Young People and Care Leavers customers can access the service for free. With ZunTold you can:
- Have web chat counselling sessions
- Write and tell your story how you like
- Access a library of books, poems and short stories
- Share as much of your personal story as you feel comfortable with
We’ve produced this short film which tells you more before you give it a go. Click here.
If you are a interested in signing up contact your support worker or email Elaine Bousfield on [email protected]
