Visiting Look Ahead’s Head Office

Look Ahead’s main office has moved from Westminster to Caledonian Road.

The office’s new address is Waltham Forest YPHP, Kemp House, 152-160 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX.

We want you to make sure you can visit the office comfortably and easily when you need to.

You need to make an appointment with the staff member you are visiting before you come to the office.

The office is open from Monday to Friday from 9am-5:30pm.

When you arrive at the office, there is a button by the door, and the receptionist should let you in.

You will need to sign in, and you will be given a visitor lanyard, which you must always wear when you are in the building. You can then take a seat and wait for the person you are meeting to come and get you.

The reception is only staffed after 9:30, so if you arrive before then, you will need to tell the person you are visiting when you get here so they can let you in.

We are planning to continue holding some activities at the new office from time to time, but we may sometimes need to use other Look Ahead buildings instead.

But do not worry, Look Ahead staff will let you know where to go for each of these activities and events.

Accessibility

The building is fully compliant with the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA), so you can expect reasonable adjustments to meet your needs when you visit.

Examples of these include:

A passenger lift suitable for wheelchair users.
A lower counter top in the kitchen that everyone can use.
Wider doors and sufficient space to accommodate office users.

Access requirements

There is no onsite parking at the office. So, if you are coming by car, please make sure you find another space to park.

We want you to feel comfortable and welcome when you are visiting the office.

Please tell us if there is anything you would like us to know about you so we can accommodate your needs when you come and visit.

These could be:

Allergies or dietary requirements e.g., vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, use a straw to drink easily, halal and kosher.
Any reasonable adjustments you may need.
The name you like people to call you.
If you need a quiet space to relax or pray for a little while.
Or anything else you may like us to know.

Unisex toilets are open for visitors to use, including one on the floor where Look Ahead’s office is located, and another two on the ground floor for everyone in the building.
